Queensland Collection Zephyra

Queensland Collection Zephyra is a super-fine brushed cotton blend with a soft, airy feel and light halo. Acrylic and polyamide add durability, elasticity, and shape retention.

Zephyra features gradual color changes that create subtle shifts throughout the fabric. Its light weight and generous yardage make it well suited for shawls, scarves, lightweight garments, and accessories.

Our sample, worked in a textured cable, kept us interested and waiting for the next color change. Unlike many color-changing yarns, Zephyra is a true, gentle gradient as it transitions from one color to the next.

Fiber Content:  49% Cotton, 43% Acrylic, 8% Polyamide
Weight: 100 grams/3.5oz ball.
Yardage: 382 yards
Size: [1] Fingering
Knitting Needle: US 1-3 needle, although many work it much looser for shawls, wraps and scarfs.
Knitting Gauge:  6.75-8 stitches = 1" using small needles. 
Crochet Hook: B1 - D3
Crochet Gauge: 5.25-8 single crochets = 1"
Best Suited for the Silver Reed LK150 Mid-Gauge.  Due to its halo, Zephyra does best knit a bit looser than a standard gauge machine would do.
Care: Machine Wash Cold on Gentle (or hand wash). Lay flat to dry.
