Here are a few commonly asked questions:

What Berroco yarn is best if I’m making my first sweater?
A lot of beginners start with Berroco Vintage because it’s soft, machine washable, and easy to work with without feeling too delicate. Vintage is a light worsted.  If you'd feel comfortable starting with a bulkier weight, and see your project process quicker, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Vintage Chunky!

Is Berroco yarn itchy or soft to wear?
It depends on the yarn line, but many Berroco yarns are designed for everyday wear and feel comfortable against the skin, especially blends like Vintage and Modern Cotton. Often when wool is blended with acrylic, as the Vintage Lines are, the result is a softer feeling fabric.

Can I wash Berroco yarn in the washing machine?
Some Berroco yarns are machine washable and some are not. Always check the label, but popular lines like Vintage and Modern Cotton are made for easier care.
