Ella Rae Cozy Alpaca Chunky
Ella Rae Cozy Alpaca Chunky is a soft, cuddly blend of 70% premium acrylic and 30% Baby Alpaca. It has the feel and gentle halo of alpaca, while the acrylic gives it durability, easy care, and a much more affordable price.
What really stands out is the resulting fabric. Cozy Alpaca Chunky knits into a thick, very soft fabric with an impressive amount of drape. For longer garments, consider working at a slightly tighter gauge if you want a little more body and structure.
In our test knitting, the yarn worked beautifully in stockinette, ribbing, garter stitch, and a heavily textured lace pattern. It handles texture particularly well and was simply a pleasure to work with.
A great choice for pullovers, cardigans, hats, scarves, cowls, wraps, and especially soft toddler blankets.
