Notes
(1) Standard Garment Styling, Stitch Designer, Interactive Knitting, and Graphics Studio are present in all product levels.
(2) Garments designed using Original Pattern Drafting in a different product level may be knitted using Machine Standard.
(3) Hand knit stitch patterns can be opened in Machine Standard or Machine Pro, but are treated as machine knit patterns.
(4) Machine knit stitch patterns can be opened in HandKnit, but are treated as hand knit patterns.
System Requirements
- Windows XP or later (32-bit or 64-bit operating system), except Windows 10S and Windows 11 Home in ‘S Mode’, which can run only applications downloaded from the Windows Store (which doesn’t offer DesignaKnit).
- DesignaKnit will not run on an iPad or Chromebook.
- Mac owners can install Windows under Parallels and run DesignaKnit in that way.
- Screen size at least 800 x 600 pixels for the DesignaKnit program and at least 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) for on-line video tutorials. We recommend using 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) if possible.
- 600 Mbytes free hard drive space.
- The optional cable links plug into a computer’s type A USB 1.0, 2.0, or 3.0 socket. (This does not apply to the HandKnit product level).
- Delivery: internet download only.
